Personal data we process
You do not need to give any personal data to use the calculators; the values you enter are calculated in your browser and are not stored on the server. Personal data is processed only in these cases:
- If you create an account: your email address and an irreversible hash of your password.
- If you save a calculation: its name, the values you entered and the result. These are stored encrypted.
- When you visit: IP address, browser details and time of visit, kept in the hosting provider’s logs for security.
- If you write to us: your contact details and the content of your message.
Purposes and legal bases
- Creating your account, keeping you signed in and showing your saved calculations — performance of a contract.
- Protecting the site against abuse and keeping logs — legitimate interest and legal obligation.
- Answering your messages — legitimate interest.
Sharing and transfers
Your personal data is not sold or shared for marketing. It is held on the systems of the hosting provider, and may be disclosed to public authorities where the law requires.
Retention and security
Account details and saved calculations are kept until you delete your account, which you can do at any time on the Account page; deletion is permanent.
Saved calculations are encrypted with AES-256. For password accounts the key is derived from your password, so nobody — the site owner included — can read them, and they cannot be recovered if you forget the password.
Your rights
You may ask the data controller to:
- Confirm whether your data is processed and give you a copy
- Explain the purpose of the processing
- Tell you who the data has been shared with
- Correct incomplete or inaccurate data
- Delete your data
- Compensate damage caused by unlawful processing
How to apply
Send your request to the email address on the Contact page. Requests are answered free of charge within 30 days. If you are not satisfied you may complain to the data protection authority.
