An exchange rate is the price of one currency in another. This converter uses the indicative rates published each business day by the Central Bank of the Republic of Türkiye (TCMB).
You are not limited to lira: convert euros to dollars or pounds to francs too — the cross rate is worked out through each currency’s lira value. The table below lists every buying and selling rate.

How often are the rates updated?
TCMB publishes them once every business day, around 15:30 Istanbul time. The bulletin date is shown under the result.
Are these the rates I get at a bank?
No. They are indicative central-bank rates used for invoices, accounting and customs. Banks and exchange offices set their own live rates.
Are the banknotes real images?
No, they are illustrations that make the currencies easy to tell apart.
